The facility was started in 1994 and since then we have been providing excellent elderly care and assisted living services at Salisbury. Our mission is to provide low-income senior housing New Hampshire as affordable as possible without compromising on the quality of care provided. Social Events and Programs
Right from the time we have started a low-income senior housing facility, we take every step to vanquish the boredom in the lives of seniors. We conduct numerous social, cultural and musical events for our residents. A lot of recreational activities take place in the facility every day. Cooking, gardening, discussions, exercises, walking clubs, fitness programs… residents can choose activities of their choice.

Excellent Personal Care Facilities
When a new member joins our low-income senior housing facility, we build a customized and comprehensive healthcare plan after consulting with your primary care physician. We identify the conditions specific to the person and design a fitness plan according to health status. Our team members make sure the medical concerns are timely addressed and required medications are taken on time throughout the stay.

Independence and Privacy
We respect the privacy and value independence of the residents at our low-income senior housing facility. They can go out and come in as they please, but we would like them to inform our personal care staff about their absence. Also, we would be happy when their friends, family or relatives visit them occasionally.

No senior should have to choose between living alone in a vulnerable situation or being prematurely placed in a long-term care facility or nursing home because they can’t afford assisted living. We do our very best to operate in a manner that makes residential assisted living financially feasible.
We participate in programs that subsidize costs for lower-income elders, such as MassHealth and Commonwealth Care Alliance/Senior Care Options (SCO).
We help direct veterans to the Veterans Aid & Attendance program and we maintain the most affordable private pay rates around.

Seasonal Splendor All Year Long
Spring
On the first warm day of spring, we gather our walking club members and get moving. In this season of renewal, we start planting seeds for our vegetable and flower gardens, and participate in Earth week awareness programs. Whether it’s Mardi Gras, St Patrick’s Day, or Cinco de Mayo, we’re ready for a celebration.
Summer
The flowers are blooming, the barbeque is fired up, the picnic umbrellas are open and the wicker chairs are on the decks. We quickly transistion to "summer resort mode” at Salisbury, which includes trips to the ice cream stand or down the street for “beach pizza.”
Fall
Fall colors mean harvest time from our vegetable garden, and everyone gets to reap the benefits with pumpkin pie and zucchini bread made by our Cooking Club. Autumn is also time for our nature lovers to prepare the bird feeders for winter.
Winter
The aroma of homemade soups, fresh peppermint tea, and your favorite casseroles warm even the coldest winter days. Families attend our multicourse gourmet holiday dinners, and we host holiday tree-decorating gatherings, the best holiday party, and live performances, all while the sounds of Andy, Bing, Dean and old-time Christmas shows fill the air. It’s the most wonderful time of the year indeed.
